As a key member of our Engineering and Architecture Group, you’ll play a pivotal role in how we design, build, and deliver software. This is a hands-on architecture role, where you’ll spend at least half your time coding, prototyping, and building .NET and Azure solutions shoulder‑to‑shoulder with the team.

  • Define architecture roadmaps, reference patterns, and practical solutions across Azure, .NET, and the broader Microsoft technology ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Support leadership to evolve best practices for design, development, testing, deployment, code quality, automation, and overall maintainability.
  • Contribute directly to application design and development, building prototypes, shaping architecture decisions, and guiding engineers through technical reviews and best practices.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to scope new opportunities, evaluate risks, estimate effort, and translate ideas into clear, achievable solutions aligned with budget and strategy.
  • Lead our adoption of AI-driven tools, including Claude Code, setting standards and identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve quality, and boost productivity.
  • Explore new and emerging technologies, conduct proofs‑of‑concept, recommend adoption paths, and establish engineering standards across the enterprise.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation, including architecture designs, integration plans, testing procedures, and operational guidelines.

Travel:

  • Up to 5 days per year

Salary Range: $102,000-$105,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s in computer science/software engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8–10+ years software development, including 2+ years in solution/application architecture.
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET, and Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Storage).
  • Solid understanding of microservices, modular monoliths, event‑driven design, and DDD.
  • Full SDLC experience: design, development, testing, deployment, support.
  • Proficiency with modern front‑end frameworks (Angular, React, or Blazor) and REST API design.
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into clear architectures and estimates.
  • Leadership in design/code reviews and mentoring.
  • Interest in AI‑enabled dev tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code).
  • Strong communication with technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and modern engineering practice adoption.
  • Familiarity with CMS customization, SEO, accessibility, and vulnerability remediation.

Desired:

  • Experience with AMS, CRM platforms (e.g., Dynamics 365), or customizable SaaS products.
  • Designing/operating cloud‑native Azure solutions; CI/CD automation via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and Power BI; interest in platform migrations.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices: IaC, automated deployments, environment management, monitoring.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure Architect, Dev/Admin Associate, DevOps Engineer).
  • Ability to communicate platform strategy, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly.
